News from the Artik Toronto print shop! We’ve just purchased two awesome machines that will take our custom t-shirt printing to the next level. Meet the Direct to Garment (DTG) machine:
With two new DTGs, the Artik print team are creating high quality, full colour tees that are soft, durable and they look incredible.
Backstory: In 1985, Artik first began screen printing t-shirts in a Toronto flea market. Every year since then our business has grown and changed, with new technologies completely revolutionizing the print industry. We’ve expanded to print custom shirts, sweaters, sports uniforms and thousands of promotional products for all of Canada.
Along the way, we chose to invest in the best printing tech on the market. Sometimes that doesn’t pay off – we’ve had machines that are too complex and break down too often. It’s an extra expense, but we’re always refining our process to improve quality and lower costs and sometimes the risk truly pays off.
This year, that meant purchasing two Brother GTX printers. After some experimentation we’re blown away! We’ve never seen full colour apparel printing at this high quality and durability. Our experienced staff are finding it helpful to use Brother printers alongside traditional screen printing tech to bring Artik ahead of the competition.
